Your Words Heard

Over the past few months or so, many many people have left messages to Trademark on this site. In a conversation with Richard, he wanted to send along a quick word in thanks:

"Team Trademark is appreciative of all the feedback and overwhelmed by the continued interest. And stay tuned, we are far from over!" - Richard Davis

Richard Davis, an Early Believer

Update: TLC will be playing "A Homerun for Trademark" at 7pm this Saturday, Sunday 2a.

Josh HamiltonTwo summers ago, Hamilton was just emerging from a four-year battle with crack and cocaine addiction when Davis hired him. The two met in 2000, when Davis rented a Folly Beach condo to Hamilton and his parents.

Now Hamilton is 33 months sober. The 27-year-old Texas Rangers right fielder is leading the American League in home runs.

"Forget TV. Forget real estate," Davis said. "Just being involved in something like this and turning a lot of negatives into positives makes for a great story of redemption. I look at that episode sometimes and think, 'Did we actually do that?' " (more)

32 congrats to Josh!

Richard Davis visits the Shoeless Joe Museum

Shoeless Joe Museum

Shoeless Joe Jackson’s Greenville home is ready for its close-up.

The small brick house, relocated to the street across from the Greenville Drive’s home stadium two years ago, will finally open for visitors this weekend after a dedication ceremony.

Jackson’s house, where the baseball icon died in 1951, originally was located on Wilburn Street, but Charleston real-estate developer Richard C. Davis purchased the 950-square-foot house and moved it near Fluor Field in 2006.

Now, it has been renovated and turned into the Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum and Baseball Library. (click here to read more)

** UPDATE **

GREENVILLE — Richard Davis flies into Greenville from LAX today for his first look at one of his favorite TV stars, the new Shoeless Joe Jackson Museum and Baseball Library. The founder of Charleston's Trademark Properties bought the actual red brick home the late baseball icon once lived in and charitably moved it across Greenville to an ideal West End display spot next to Fluor Field, home of the Class A South Atlantic League's Greenville Drive....

"Forget TV. Forget real estate," Davis said. "Just being involved in something like this and turning a lot of negatives into positives makes for a great story of redemption. I look at that episode sometimes and think, "Did we actually do that?" (click here to read more)

Riding the Marathon

Just in case you missed the marathon of shows recently, click on the arrow to see a little recap.

Like many, I was hoping the marathon run was a precursor to the triumphant return of the show. Did not see any promos on TLC to indicate that though. But the rumor mill keeps running, and there are many positive indications it will return.

The team seems to have much lasting appeal, as the page views for this site, even during a marathon re-run, hit an all time high.

So on that high note, I updated this site a bit and you'll see below, your chance to let them know we're still out here waiting.

Real Estate Pros mini Marathon on TLC May 25th?

Looks like there might be a cluster of re-runs on May25th starting at noon.

Never can trust TLC listings, but that's what it said today.
